Kaizer Chiefs Midfielder Willard Katsande has put pen to paper to confirm his stay at Naturena for another three seasons. The Zimbabwe International’s signature comes amidst much speculation about his future.
Katsande’s new deal will run from 1 July 2017 until 30 June 2020. The hard-tackling midfielder possesses a South African permanent residence status.
Katsande joined Chiefs from Ajax Cape Town in 2011.
And, despite being a true team player, the midfielder won several individual awards since joining the Glamour Boys, including being selected as Kaizer Chiefs’ best player for the 2013/2014 and 2015/2016 seasons.
Chiefs have already tied down Eric Mathoho, Lorenzo Gordinho, Tsepo Masilela, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Lucky Baloyi and Kgotso Moleko to new contracts and the Zimbabwean international is the latest to extend his stay at Naturena.
