Kekana salvage vital win for Sundowns at Baroka

Baroka FC 0:1 Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns needed last munites goal from captain Hlompho Kekana minutes to get full three points from Baroka FC in Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane.

The game was too quiet in the first half with none of the two threatening or creating better goal scoring chances. Champions of Africa started to show their class in the second half of the game, creating more chances with Percy Tau, Dolly and Billiat threatening the defence.

Poor officiating nearly costed the defending champions a game after the lines-man ruled Hlompho Kekana clear goal on the 70th munites.

Mamelodi Sundowns found the winner on the 84th minute when Kekana beat Baroka keeper with a brilliant header to make it 1:0.

The Brazillians will go into the deserved Christmas break sitting confortably on the seventh position on the log with about six games in hand.
