Champions of Africa, Mamelodi Sundowns ready to let go of ‘star-player’ Keagan Dolly but on condition
Mamelodi Sundowns President Patrice Motsepe says his club is ready to let go of the star midfielder, Keagan Dolly.
Motsepe said his club will only release their CAF Champions League winning icon on one condition – “only if it receives an offer in terms of the buy out clause…”
According to reports European giants, Olympiacos & Montpellier have made a bid for Keegan Dolly’s service this January but the club is refusing to let the player go without the buy-out clause being satisfied.
Sundowns have entered into a dispute with the player’s representative and the unions over R12 million buyout clause on Dolly’s contract should he receive interest from European clubs.
The pressure on Mamelodi Sundowns to release Keagan Dolly increased last week when French club Montpellier increased their offer from R7‚1 million to R14‚3 million.
Keagan Dolly is now a top player in African football after his nomination at the CAF Awards 2016, listed within the CAF Africa XI.
