SAFA to officially announce the “new” Bafana coach

South African football Association (SAFA) will announce the new Bafana Bafana coach to replace Shakes Mashaba in 48-hours.

The South African football body released a statement on Wednesday evening that it has finalised an agreement with the successful candidate for Bafana coaching job and is in the process of formalising the legal arrangements by exchanging signatures today.

According to reports and speculations SAFA has agreed to terms with Supersport United Head coach Stuart Baxter and will officially announce his as the new Bafana coach with effect from the end of the 2016/2017 League season.

The federation will make an announcement in 48-hours time:

“We are mindful that the South African public has been waiting with bated breath for this matter to be concluded and we can report that we will make a formal and more detailed announcement to this effect in the next 24 to 48 hours.” said SAFA
