Sundowns have won the Top Eight Cup on three previous occasions (1988, 1990 and 2007). Moreover, the Chilli Boys are aiming to win a first top-flight trophy in what is their debut MTN8 tournament.

The Eastern Cape side has yet to record a win over Sundowns, but they don’t have to claim an outright victory to advance: a score draw would see them into the final on the away goals rule.
